President's Message, April 2026

I hope your spring season is off to a good start. Here in the Northeast, it is always a relief to finally welcome warmer weather and longer days.

Spring is also when exterior construction activity picks up across the U.S. In colder regions like the Midwest, Northeast, and Mountain states, exterior site work ramps up as the ground thaws and temperatures stay consistently above freezing. There are many reasons for this. Frozen ground makes excavation slower, more expensive, and sometimes impractical, while also placing more strain on equipment. Warmer conditions are also more favorable for concrete and asphalt work, and longer days help improve productivity and reduce risk in the field.

At Beacon Consulting Group, our construction consulting teams are actively supporting projects across the country and helping clients navigate all site conditions to keep work moving forward.

We are also continuing to grow and are currently recruiting Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Site Superintendents for our New York City and Florida offices. If you know someone who would be a strong addition to our construction consulting team, we would appreciate the referral.

Please check out this month’s Beacon E-News. Highlights include John Yeung, Vice President, celebrating his 20th anniversary with Beacon. We also feature a 300-unit residential project in Miami supported by our Florida team, led by Kieran O'Connor.

As always, please Contact Beacon if you need support with any construction consulting matter.

Best Regards,

Dennis O'Neill, President
Beacon Consulting Group, Inc.
