Beacon team members Elizabeth Paquet and Myat Cyn recently attended the Women’s Surety Claims Collaborative (WSCC) meeting held April 16–17 at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey. This two-day event brought together women leaders from across the country, representing the surety industry’s top female professionals. The gathering provided a space for participants to learn, discuss, and promote professional growth and collaboration within the industry.

WSCC is a professional community dedicated to connecting, supporting, and elevating women working in surety claims and related disciplines. The organization’s mission is to foster collaboration, professional development, and meaningful dialogue among claims professionals throughout the surety industry. WSCC offers a forum for sharing insights, best practices, and real-world experiences. Additionally, it promotes mentorship, leadership growth, and peer support to encourage the advancement of women in the field.

Beacon’s Elizabeth Paquet is honored to be a founding board member of WSCC. She collaborates with founder and co-sponsor Amanda Miceli (Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC), as well as fellow founding board members and co-sponsors Rosa Martinez‑Genzon and Elmira Howard (Howard-Genson LLP). The team also includes recently named Co-Sponsor and Board Member Ashley Robinson (D’Arcy Vicknair).

This April meeting marked WSCC’s kickoff event and was a great success.
