Miami Self Storage Building
Beacon provided construction consulting & surety consulting services to a leading Surety company related to a building construction project in Miami, Florida. The building is a 5-story, 17,400-SF Life Storage self-storage facility. The building was completed and opened for commercial use in September of 2018.
On behalf of the Surety, Beacon's project staff closely monitored progress and facilitated scheduling and payments to various contractors involved. By providing on-site and off-site support to the Surety, our team helped to expedite the completion process while safeguarding the client's interest. Beacon's team also helped to oversee the project closeout process—such as ensuring that requests to close out building permits were submitted to the city, along with other related closeout tasks. Right up through the completion of construction, Beacon's project staff members continued to track the on-site progress of the project and helped to move work forward on behalf of the Surety.
