This project entailed a construction defects assessment related to water intrusion at a 36-story, 232-unit luxury condominium building in Southern California.
Beacon was retained to prepare a coverage report to identify the window manufacturer's potential liability for over $43M in alleged repair costs. There was evidence of water intrusion and water damage at the balconies, windows, and doors. Beacon identified which repair items were resultant damages, who was potentially responsible for those damages, and the total costs that could be attributed to the window manufacturer.
