Beacon Assists Leading Surety with Construction Consulting & Project Management Services for Multiple Apartment Construction Projects in Florida
A leading Surety retained Beacon to provide a wide variety of construction consulting services related to the completion of several large apartment complexes in South Florida. For the past 12 months, Beacon has been providing a range of services to help move the projects forward and support the Surety, including:
- Cost-to-Complete Analysis
- On-Site Construction Management Assistance/Monitoring
- Project Relet
- Payment Bond Claim Review & Legal Technical Support
- Funds Control Support
There are total of six separate apartment complexes under this project, representing more than $200-million in aggregate contract value. In recent months, four of the apartment complexes (with more than 670 residential units) have reached substantial completion. As of this writing, it is expected that 300 more units will reach substantial completion during the first quarter of 2026.
Beacon Vice Project Kieran O’Connor is the lead consultant for Beacon on the project with support from other construction consulting team members from Beacon’s Florida office, including Josue Bermudez and Pablo Rios. Beacon’s team is expected to continue to help support the Surety with on-site and project support services until all units are completed.
