Beacon Consulting Group was retained by a leading Surety to provide construction consulting / surety claims consulting services related to a homeless shelter renovation project in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. Beacon was hired to help ensure that the project was completed following the default of the General Contractor on the project. The $1.2-million first phase of the building's renovation included the upgrade / renovation of bathrooms, shower rooms, and adjoining spaces used by residents. This entailed upgrades to mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and fire alarm. The project also included all related finish work (such as painting, tile work, flooring, etc). Beacon was retained by a leading surety company to help with the completion of a specialized marine construction project in Somerville, MA, just a few miles northwest of Boston. The project entailed the replacement of the "Somerville Tide Gate" which is part of the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority's (MWRA) combined sewer overflow (CSO) system. Tide gates are devices that help isolate sewer system piping from natural bodies of water and/or prevent river water from entering a sewer (or sewage treatment system) during high tides and river flooding events.

Beacon was retained by a leading surety company to provide construction consulting services related to a high-profile project in New York City. TSX Broadway is a 46-story mixed-use hotel tower being built at 1568 Broadway in Times Square (see rendering). Located in the heart of Times Square, the project included the installation of massive computerized LED Screens / Electronic Billboards which wrap around the lower section of the building, as well as up its side and near the top of the structure. The LED signage system is reportedly the largest and most technologically advanced in all of Times Square, a neighborhood which is world famous for its many gigantic high-tech billboards and signs.
