President's Message, May 2026

Over the past four years, she worked hard, made the most of her college experience, and stayed actively involved in campus life, including ice hockey and her sorority. She also studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and participated in a Sports Public Relations program in Switzerland, which included visits to FIFA and the International Olympic Committee headquarters. I could not be prouder of her. It has been wonderful to watch her grow and blossom into the amazing young woman she is today...

At the same time, buildings and dams constructed decades ago are operating under higher loads and greater environmental stress...

President's Message, April 2026

I hope your spring season is off to a good start. Here in the Northeast, it is always a relief to finally welcome warmer weather and longer days. Spring is also when exterior construction activity picks up across the U.S. In colder regions like the Midwest, Northeast, and Mountain states, exterior site work ramps up as the ground thaws and temperatures stay consistently above freezing. There are many reasons for this. Frozen ground makes excavation slower, more expensive, and sometimes impractical, while also placing more strain on equipment. Warmer conditions are also more favorable for concrete and asphalt work, and longer days help improve productivity and reduce risk in the field....
