President's Message, July 2026

I hope your summer is going well. Here at Beacon, we have been busy helping our clients with a wide variety of construction consulting assignments across the United States. It has been an active and productive season, and we appreciate the continued trust that our clients place in our team.

We are also excited about Beacon’s continued growth. Over the past few months, six talented professionals have joined our company, strengthening our team and expanding the expertise we bring to every assignment. New Project: Leading Surety Selects Beacon Consulting Group, Inc. for Construction Consulting Services at the U.S. Military Academy Campus in West Point, NY

Beacon’s team is once again providing construction consulting services on the campus of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, overlooking the Hudson River in Orange County, NY. Beacon will be assisting the surety by providing construction monitoring and consulting services related to the renovation of two separate buildings on the campus. These projects are part of USMA’s Cadet Barracks Upgrade Program (CBUP), a 10-year initiative to renovate and modernize eight of the academy’s nine cadet barracks...

Beacon's Team Attends the Surety Claims Institute 51st Annual Meeting, Photos & Highlights

The Surety Claims Institute's 51st Annual Meeting was held June 24-26, 2026, in Galloway, NJ. The setting was a beautiful one, the Seaview Hotel, located not far from Atlantic City. This year's meeting included more than two days of panel discussions, seminars, and presentations aimed at professional development for claims executives, attorneys, and consultants working in the fidelity and surety industry. Lessons Learned During My First Year as a Project Engineer at Beacon Consulting Group

Monica Xiao recently completed her first year as a full-time Project Engineer at Beacon Consulting Group. Based in Beacon’s Medford, Massachusetts office, Monica first joined Beacon as an Engineering Co-op in 2023 through Northeastern University’s Co-op Program. After graduating from Northeastern with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Business Administration, she returned to Beacon full time in the summer of 2025. During her first year, Monica has contributed to a wide range of construction consulting and surety-claims-related assignments, including project accounting, cost-to-complete analysis, expert report support, delay claim work, and project documentation. Happy June! It is hard to believe the year is nearly half over. So far, 2026 has been a very exciting year for Beacon Consulting Group, and there is plenty of positive energy in the air beyond our company as well. FIFA World Cup fever is sweeping across the U.S., with many memorable matches already played and the championship match scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. It has also been an especially memorable time for Beacon’s New York City team. We recently relocated our NYC office to a larger, freshly built-out space at 18 West 33rd Street, directly across from the Empire State Building...

New Project: Leading Surety Selects Beacon for Construction Consulting on Northeast Florida Fire Station Completion

Beacon Consulting Group’s Florida office is providing construction consulting services related to the completion of a fire station construction project in Northeast Florida. The new station, with total projected construction costs of more than $4 million, will support critical emergency response services for a rural community that currently has limited access to nearby fire and rescue facilities. The completed facility will be more than 6,000 square feet in size and will include apparatus bay space, office areas, and related support space for fire, rescue, and law enforcement personnel.
