Happy Holidays! Once again, another year has flown by. 2022 has been a successful year for Beacon Consulting Group. We have had the pleasure of working on and completing many interesting projects across the U.S. for a wide range of clients, old and new. I would like to thank all of our incredible clients for choosing Beacon as their trusted Construction Consulting partner. I would also like to thank all of our incredibly talented staff members here at Beacon. Not only do we have a very competent, dedicated, and hard-working team, each member of our staff is a unique, high-quality person who I am proud to call my friend. It was fantastic to see most of our team members at Beacon's annual corporate meeting and holiday party held in Boston last week. Every December, Beacon's team members meet for the company's annual Corporate Meeting and Holiday Dinner. This is a great opportunity for our team members to share lessons learned in the past year, highlights of various completed and ongoing projects, information about new technologies, and tips for dealing with difficult situations and projects. As part of the professional development aspect of the corporate meeting, Beacon invites industry experts to participate in a focused panel discussion. Over the years, Beacon has provided construction consulting services related to many Public Housing construction and renovation projects. Recently, the company was retained by a leading Surety company to provide construction consulting services related to a public housing renovation project in New York City. The job relates to a high-profile initiative underway at various public housing buildings owned by "NYCHA" (the New York City Housing Authority). NYCHA is the largest public housing authority in North America and the largest landlord in New York City. Beacon is currently providing construction consulting services to the Surety related to the "excavation and cementing" of dirt floors in the crawlspace areas under very large NYCHA residential apartment buildings...
At Beacon's recent Annual Corporate Meeting, five of Beacon's core team members were recognized and rewarded for important work anniversary milestones (see photo). Celebrating 15+ years of service were Beacon Vice President John Yeung, Vice President Jim Bruno, and Dan Newcombe (Construction Superintendent/Project Manager). Celebrating 10+ years of service were Kieran O'Connor (Beacon Vice President, Southeastern U.S.), and Janet Mosey (Office & Accounting Manager)...
Kieran O’Connor and his beautiful bride Erin Winterfeldt tied the knot the day after Thanksgiving, Friday November 25th, 2022. Needless to say, the wedding celebration was a great party, attended by many family and friends. The wedding ceremony was held at Maria Regina Church in Seaford, NY, followed by a reception at The Fox Hollow Hotel in Woodbury, NY. Kieran has worked for Beacon Consulting Group since 2011 and has served as Vice President, Southeastern U.S., since January of 2021. Kieran, a native of County Kerry, Ireland, met Erin while living and working in New York City. Erin grew up in Massapequa, NY and Florida...

Here we are, Thanksgiving week already! I can't believe how fast every year is flying by. It's been a productive and busy year for Beacon Consulting Group. This year, we truly have a lot to be thankful for. We have added new staff members to meet the growing demand for our services around the country. We currently have team members working on projects across multiple states and our Florida office is growing. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of our valued clients who continue to put their trust in Beacon.
