Beacon Annual Corporate Meeting: Fun, Professional Development, and A Visit From Moses!

Every December, Beacon's team comes together for our annual corporate meeting in Boston, MA. We review lessons learned on projects undertaken during the year, make plans for the year to come, and invite industry experts to participate in panel discussions. This year, we had two panels made up of Surety and Surety Law experts, including Moses! (who shared 10 Commandments that every Surety Consultant should live by).

Once again, our meeting was held at the Omni Parker House Hotel in downtown Boston. In addition to presentations from various Beacon staff members, which discussed projects and industry information, there were two panel discussions led by leading surety attorneys. Special thanks go out to our two panel moderators Todd Braggins (aka "Moses") of Ernstrom and Dreste LLP and Jonathan Burwood of Watt Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald LLP.

We will have more photos from the event in our January E-News. However, it's safe to say that a fun time was had by all. In true Beacon style, we kicked off the annual meeting with a historic pub crawl which started near Faneuil Hall on Thursday evening December 12th, followed up by dinner at The Oyster House restaurant. Following our formal meeting on Friday, our staff and invited guests enjoyed a great holiday dinner at The Taste Wine Bar and Kitchen. We'd like to thank all of the guests who attended and participated on the panels, including our attorney friends and representatives from several leading surety companies.
