Throughout 2018, Beacon Consulting Group provided construction consulting and surety consulting services to a leading Surety company related to a building construction project in Miami, Florida. The building is now finished and the facility opened for commercial use in September of 2018. The building is a 5-story, 17,400-SF LifeStorage self-storage facility. On behalf of the Surety, Beacon's project staff closely montiored progress and facilitated scheduling and payments to various contractors involved.

In recent months, Beacon's team focused on helping to oversee the project closeout process—such as ensuring that requests to close out building permits were submitted to the city, along with other related closeout tasks. Right up through the completion of construction, Beacon's project staff members continued to track the on-site progress of the project and helped to move work forward on behalf of the Surety.

The second photo below shows the state of the project before Beacon was involved, followed by photos showing the completed building. Key members of Beacon's project team included Kieran O'Connor (Project Manager), Mike Paquet (Site Superintendent), and Andrew Lem (Project Engineer).
