Beacon Staff Profile: Mike Yeung, Project Consultant
Mike Yeung joined Beacon Consulting Group in early 2019. Mike provides a wide range of construction consulting services to Beacon's clients by supporting our Project Managers and Engineers based in our NYC, Florida, and Boston offices.
Mike has a strong background in finance and accounting. He earned an MBA from Regis University (Finance/Accounting), a B.S. in Finance/International Business from Temple University, and spent 15 years at Standard & Poor's where he worked as a Primary Credit Analyst in the Structured Finance area.
Mike helps our team deliver outstanding services in all of the following consulting areas:
- Contractor Claims Analysis
- Construction Cost Analysis
- Change Order Review
- Assisting in the preparation of bid packages
- Analyzing and organizing construction project documents
- Assisting Project Managers with cost to complete analyses
Mike's professionalism, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and background in financial analysis and accounting have helped him to quickly become a valuable member of our team over the past 3 years.
Mike resides on Long Island (NY) with his wife and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with his family, and playing/watching sports with his kids.
