Beacon Consulting Group has been selected to provide construction monitoring services for a new construction project underway in Manhattan. The 22-story tower is being built in the NoMad section of NYC. Groundbreaking took place in January of 2019. The new building is being developed by GDSNY (based in NYC) in partnership with Klövern, a Sweden-based real estate development and management company.
Beacon Consulting Group, Inc. has been providing Surety Consulting / Construction Consulting services related to various construction projects at Dayton Manor, a 116-unit apartment building located in Brooklyn, NY. Dayton Manor provides residential housing for federal employees (and their families) who work at two correctional facilities located in Brooklyn.
Since mid-2016, Beacon Consulting Group has taken a lead role in providing construction project auditing services related to more than 110 change orders on NYCEDC-funded construction projects having a total value in excess of $32.6 million. As of early March, the recovery / savings value associated with Beacon's services was estimated to be in excess of $325K (and growing). As previously reported, Beacon Consulting Group, Inc. was selected to provide construction consulting and surety consulting services related to a new building project at Rutgers University (Piscataway, NJ). Since late 2015, Beacon has been providing a comprehensive range of services to support the Surety for this project.
